I have spent my career specializing in trauma, grief, mood disorders, chronic pain, anger issues, adjustment issues with chronic illnesses (chronic pain, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, cancer, traumatic brain injury, and disability) and insomnia. I provide therapy with children, teens, couples, families and adults.
In my supervision, I am a trauma-informed therapist grounded in neurobiology, utilizing EMDR, expressive arts therapy with sand tray therapy, CBT, EFT (Emotional Freedom technique) as well as grounded in systems theory. I have 5-years’ experience supervising master level graduate students. I ask my supervisees to videotape their sessions and write-up a reaction response to their video describing what the strengths of the session were and what you would have done differently. I work with supervisees to do case conceptualization with all clients and that will be the foundation for interventions.
My model of supervision is to teach, encourage, and challenge. It is my goal to help build your confidence and skill level, as well as increase the number of tools you have in your toolbag. I provide face-to-face supervision, as well as supervision by videoconferencing with Theranest or Thera-link.
